Graduates and their guests are our focus for Autumn Commencement 2021. We are committed to accommodating as many guests as possible in the Schottenstein Center. Only students who have applied to graduate are eligible to receive tickets to the ceremony on December 19.
As admission ticket is required for any guest age two (2) or older. Children younger than 2 years of age who sit on the lap of another guest do not need their own ticket. Graduates do not need a ticket.
Ticket ordering information will be sent by email to graduates by November 19. Students should check their Ohio State email address for a message from Commencement Tickets.
Graduates may request up to four general admission tickets, with the option of joining a waitlist to receive up to four additional tickets.
Gradautes are responsible for ordering tickets for their guests. Tickets are free, but orders must be submitted online through the Ohio State Student Ticket Account portal by December 3.
Note: Please be advised that due to application deadlines and the high demand for tickets, announcements regarding waitlist tickets are not made until early December. Graduates and families are encouraged to take this timeline into consideration when planning travel arrangements to the Columbus campus. Any guest who does not receive a ticket to commencement is welcome to watch the proceedings online via the live video stream.
Please visit Tickets for graduates for more detailed information for graduates on the ticketing process.
