Disability Accommodations for Family and Guests
Disability parking is available in the East Stadium lot, adjacent to Ohio Stadium, on a first-come, first-served basis. A permanent or temporary Ohio or other state-issued Disability Placard is required. The East Stadium lot is accessed from Tuttle Park Place. Please plan to arrive early as reserved seating is not guaranteed.
Ohio Stadium opens at 10:00 AM on commencement day.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Ohio Stadium provides easy access for guests with permanent or temporary disabilities. Seating for those guests is located at entry level throughout the Stadium or in locations that can be accessed by using an elevator. Guests in a wheelchair, or having limited mobility, are permitted in these areas. If possible, please limit to one companion so we can accommodate everyone. A reserved seating pass is required to sit in sections designated as Wheelchair and Accessible.
On commencement day, guests needing wheelchair or limited mobility accommodations should locate one of the stations in the main concourse - near Section 14 on the Stadium's east side or Section 15 on the Stadium's west side. Event staff will be available to distribute reserved passes to guests at these designated stations. No prior arrangements are necessary.
An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter will be present during the ceremony. Seating for guests who would like interpreting services will be in Sections 16AA. A reserved seating pass is required for access to the ASL interpretation section.
On commencement day, guests who would like interpreting services should go to the station in the main concourse near Section 14 on the Stadium's east side. Event staff will be available to distribute reserved passes. No prior arrangements are necessary.
Live captioning of the ceremony will also be available on the south Stadium scoreboard, which can be viewed from seating areas on the east and west sides of Ohio Stadium.
Medic trucks with EMS crews will be on site to assist with any medical emergency, and First Aid rooms located near Sections 16A, 17A, 12B and 24C will also be available for assistance. Stadium ushers can provide directions.
Mothers who are nursing are welcome to utilize the first aid rooms.
A limited number of shaded seats are available in Ohio Stadium. These seats are located in Sections 16B-28B on B-Deck on the stadium's east side. Seating is not reserved in these sections and is available to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
Seats with Back Support
Most seats in Ohio Stadium are bleachers, though some seats with backs are in Sections 17A-23A on the stadium's west side. The last row of AA seating is sections 15AA-29AA on the stadium's west side and sections 18AA-30AA on the stadium's east side is directly against a wall that provides some back support. Seating is not reserved in these areas and is available to all guests on a first-come, first served basis.
Guests are permitted to bring seat cushions, but metal folding seat cushions or seats that clamp onto the bleachers are prohibited.
Elevators are located in the following areas of Ohio Stadium:
Two elevators are located near section 7 on the west side for access to B and C decks.
Two elevators are located near section 10 on the east side for access to B and C decks.
Accessible restrooms are located throughout Ohio Stadium.
Family restrooms are available throughout the stadium and in each first aid room.
