Doors
The Jerome Schottenstein Center opens at 12 p.m. on commencement day.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets are required for guests. Please visit our Tickets page for details
Seating
An admission ticket is required for any guest age two (2) and older. Children younger than 2 years of age who sit on the lap of another guest do not need their own ticket. Seating within the Schottenstein Center, including accessible seating, will be first-come, first-served. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for the best seating options.
Some seats will be located behind the main platform, and such will not provide optimal views of the stage. Video screens will aid in viewing the ceremony, which can also be viewed remotely on the livestream broadcast.
Health and Safety Guidelines
Consistent with university mask guidance announced on Aug. 2, graduates, their guests and everyone in the Schottenstein Center is required to wear a mask, regardless of their vaccination status. Ohio State will continue to follow all appropriate measures to protect the health and well-being of the community with the partnership of local, state and federal health authorities.
Accessibility accommodations
The Schottenstein Center provides easy access for guests with permanent or temporary disabilities. Seating for those guests is located throughout the arena. Guests in wheelchairs, as well as those with limited mobility, one one companion, are permitted in these areas. View Accessibility accommodations for further information.
An American Sign Language interpreter will be present during the ceremony. View Accessibility Accommodations for further information.
